The salon’s design theme is a cross between Parisian chic and bare industrial design with bold colors against exposed matte black HVAC conduits and bare walls with a rough textured grey cement plaster. The approach was to divide the whole area into grids, to define movement and space along with arches which helped us to see though without any barriers. A delineated effort has been made to keep maintenance free interior, also keeping a close checks on the modest expense. The charm of the space lies in the dividers, where arches have been widely used, major being the vaulted ceiling and other being detailed partitions and light fixtures.

We used all sort of local skills available as it gives a unique setting in an urban format. The element perfectly creates a harmony which also suites the clients brief. Almond brown polished wooden finish is seen in all wooden elements across the salon, carrying forward a streamlined design approach. Spaces have been filled with warmth of wood, industrial touch and the use of textured color where every visual can be leisured, paused and gazed. It was the client’s first attempt to cater to a unisex clientele and thus design details area executed in such a way that both genders would be comfortable in their respective spaces.
